Gianni would be proud

Gianni Versace's former Miami home has been reincarnated as Casa Casuarina. It is now a members-only club, in the European style. Not like a nightclub. Meaning, you have to pay a @?@?-load even to get through the front door.

ANOTHER MAN

The geniuses (or should that be genuii?) behind the UK's "Dazed & Confused" and "Another Magazine" have just launched "AnotherMan". This site has a brief snippet to let you know what the vibe is. And I think it's not bad at all! Especially if it's anything like its predecessor, it will be a great place for the mad boy to get hints on the cutting edge.

The MUNNY Show

The Kid Robot will present The MUNNY Show on November 3rd. The Munny will be re-designed by quite a number of artists, celebrities, etc. and auctioned off to benefit Hurricane Katrina children. It's quite an ecclectic mix! Even more amazing, the party will spread to three cities on this night--one in NY, one in LA, and one in SF.

Make breakfast?

I know. No one ever has time for breakfast. So when I saw this, I thought, damn, this is something people will really like.

It's a combo thing-a-magiggy. It's a toaster. It's an egg-poacher. And it's a meat-warmer. This means one can prepre a breakfast sandwich all at once. Pop the bread in, crack an egg, and put a pre-cooked sausage in the tray. When you leave the shower, you just have to assemble your sandwich (with a slice of cheese, of course!)

Usually I scry "cool" things. I know this isn't the hippest item in the world, but hey, don't they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day??

Artwork: Subway Art Guide

Ever notice the art in NYC's subway stations? Well, the Subway Art Guide will give you info about these installations. Brought to you by NYCsubway.org, this seems to be quite a comprehensive collection of photos of these great pieces. Any art in public places is good to me!

Surface | Bombay Popup Store

It seems that Bombay Sapphire has latched onto the "pop-up" store trend. They have teamed with the magazine "Surface" (who curated the shop...). Go here to be added to the list as locations, well, pop up!
PS: I'm sure Vacant will now say they were again copied and that the world is out to get them.
